Pure new rug wool in balls for latch hook, weaving, stitched rugs, knitting, crochet and rug binding


Finest quality hard wearing New Zealand Romney wool . This 4 ply wool is ideal for latch hook using 3.3 holes per inch canvas and weaving, stitching, punch needle rugs and locker hooking using the 4.5 hpi canvas as well as rughooking using hessian (burlap).
The wool is also used for whipping the edge of rugs and each 100g will whip approximately 290 cm (115"). The length per 100g is approximately 42 metres.
This wool makes a lovely knitted or crochet rug using an 8mm or 10 mm needle or hook.
This wool is lightly felted to improve the ease of hooking and to enhance the wearing properties of the rug. It is similar in thickness to the Anchor / Readicut wool and can be substituted.
